Are Genelecs really worth it?
I recently got a pair of 8040 and they are superb. I have had Adam f5 before and they were great too, but not as good as genelec. The Adam has a really special sound because of that tweeter, but the genelec are little more coherent and accurate, in my opinion.

Have you considered active speakers? Takes up less space, fewer devices needed (just a streamer!), and if you go with eg Genelec you’ll get god tier sound and very flat/neutral frequency response, used in countless pro studios and works excellent for home/hi-fi listening as well.
