Genelec 8030C is probably the best deal for high-end. Really just depends on your budget. Edit: or KH 120 II

[Help pls] Audio setup is not being very nice to me, desktop setup

All that money wasted.... Just buy decent audio interface, few XLR cables and pair of Genelec 8020's or 8030's. If you find them used, even better. You're done. There's no need for all that EQ stuff etc. Decent professional gear and you're golden.

Upgrade advice: What should I replace my Magnat Multi Monitor 220 with?

Sure, active studio monitors like the Genelec 8030C (ASR review) are very nice. But you do need a preamplifier to control the volume and select sources (e.g. between your phono preamplifier and DAC for your TV). For example you would need thus preamplifier and one these DAC options: Fosi Audio P4 (A

8030

I would guess you will notice a nice improvement although I can't find third party measurements of the Yamaha to confirm one way or the other. You don't say which model of the 8030. The C model is the latest. Things may sound wrong at first, because you are adjusted to the Yamaha 'sound', is it has

iLoud MTM MK2 vs Genelec 8010 — which for a small untreated room?

Get the largest speaker you can afford. Get the 8030 or 8040 if possible. That being said the ilouds have digital room eq correction built in afaik. The genelecs you mentioned don't have that. You need to either spend significantly more on the genelecs to get room correction or buy something like so

Kef lsx ii Lt or studio monitors

The 8030s are incredibly accurate speakers. The Kefs are a smidge less accurate but still very accurate. Specifically, the 8030s have a little bit more energy in the treble - like +1db or something, and they don't have any real quirks - there's a small dip the kefs have that the Genelecs don't, but

My 10 grand battlestation when it peaked

https://www.thomann.de/fi/genelec_8000_425b.htm Without the plates the price isn't so bad. And the adapter plates aren't necessary with 8030C's. I had 8030A's that lacked the thread at the bottom. In the photo they are set to lowest height. At their tallest setting they are tall enough to lift above c

Not your typical club standard

Missed those monitors. Good studio monitors are perfect for home as they are near field. Placement in a room is like night and day. It can change your sound so much. I use classic Genelec 8030c in white on their official mic stands in my lounge so they blend into the walls. I can also place anywhere
