VivoActive 6 chiming in here! Honestly, it's something I wish I got sooner. While not perfect, if it does make the very rare wonky data claim, you can fix it (like manually adjusting when you actually woke up, for example.) I use mine for tracking steps, rough calories, sleep, HR, menstrual, and HRV

Visible armbands?

Yeah I really like my Garmin. I got a used vivoactive 6 for $200. It gives you more info than a visible band and I think it’s cheaper in the long run because you aren’t required to get a subscription.

Switching to a Garmin

I just recently got the Vivoactive 6 on the recommendation of my head coach and I really like it. It's very close to my HRM I weat at OTF too.

Visible armbands?

I also run a vivoactive 6 after my 5 had a small accident with a tyre and I can't complain about either of them, both are work horses and the data is reasonably accurate. All wearable need taken with a pinch of salt but all the sports modes and running info is why I have them and they're great

PSA the Visible app and band are worth it for heart rate tracking alone

Seconding Garmin, I have the vivoactive 6 and it's really nice. The only issue I have with it is that I'm allergic to the metal used on the back of the watch face, but I've reacted to every watch I've had over the years so.. not really a Garmin issue lol

i have a vivoactive 6 for dysautonomia, and i’d say kind of? there may be a way to circumvent this, but the standard alert settings have it to where it tells you if your HR has stayed over a certain threshold for ten minutes with no activity. for me it’s not super helpful, because i have shorter spi

Review of GrapheneOS after a month from a long time iOS user

I went with the Vivoactive 6. I was thinking about going with the Venu 4, but it was almost twice the price and it only offered a few things that I might use that the lower cost watches didn't have. So I didn't think it was worth it. So far, the Vivoactive 6 has done absolutely everything that I cou
