First of all, I suppose you have measured your heart rate multiple times and for longer pieces? My vivoactive 6 is at times wildly inaccurate while erging: sometimes it jumps for a few minutes to 170 or 180 when I know I am doing about 120), and then comes back on its own to the correct values.

i considered a Garmin vivoactive 6 because of the better morning report, but ended up going with an amazfit active 3..... it's good, but the morning report is useless

My Active 3 looks exactly the same fit on my smaller wrist as yours. I really hope Amazfit releases new premium watches for small wrists. I'd like something similar to the Garmin Vivoactive 6, lightweight, small, thin, round, and with continuous heart rate monitoring.

Thought I’d update this post having bought a vivoactive 6. Happy to say that wearing it daily since Xmas (4 mths) without changing the band I have had no reaction at all.

I have both Vivoactive 6 and Balance 2 (XT). If you want simply track your GPS and HR and want a proper looking watch, Balance 2. If you want real recovery metrics and training plans, Vivoactive 6. Remember that it's a bit small device (only 42 mm) and looks quite cheap.

Using the alarm on my garmin Vivoactive 6. It is a gentle vibration so I wake up calmly instead of blaring phone alarm.
