Instinct 3 45mm Solar

I think you should tamper your expectations with the I3's solar capabilities. From my experience, and from what I've read here in this subreddit, solar charging is a utility used mostly to "delay" the watch from dying. But there are also so many other variables at play: How high is your brightness?

i got myself an instinct 3 around 2 months ago.while i am happy in general with this purchase (my first watch since i am a kid, and it really helps me being consistent), i am a bit frustrated with the software side of garmin. around 3 times i had huge drops of battery power withing just a few hours.

Many downloaded watch faces are heavy on battery. Instinct pro, is by far the heaviest on battery I have tried. There are many reviews for this watch face stating the same. I find it consumes around 8% battery a day (on my i3 solar 50mm) Whereas the built in watch faces in use around 2% to 3% a day.
