I'm coming from a Forerunner 745. I mainly run with a few other workouts thrown in every once in awhile. I can't really justify the price of the 970, but would like to upgrade.

Leaning towards the 965 but I am considering switching out of Garmin. Also worried the 965 will be too big on me.

Yes, beyond particular users, I'm wondering this too. Everything seems to be working for me. I've seen people say the steps are wrong, for example. But today I've got Fitbit Air 15476 steps Garmin FR965 15825 Helio Band 15037 That is after an 11.5k run and mowing the lawn. So if the steps are so out

I am liking it so far! Essentials section makes Connect a little bit more like Whoop but Garmin has a ways to go on the GUI. It doesn’t have the polish of whoop but hopefully that comes with time! The activity tracking stats are on par with my forerunner 965 and the heart rate is within a few beats
