[Apple] Introducing Apple Watch Ultra 3
As a Garmin user, to be honest I'm really sad about direction that Garmin is taking. Prices went up, at least here in PL, Fenix 8 Pro Amoled costs 1.5x of Apple Watch Ultra 3, while to use Satellite connection you need to have 9eur/month subscription (when apple provides it for 2 years for free). I left Garmin!
I’m now part of Team Coros watches as well. I got myself the Coros Pace Pro. Previously, I had the Garmin Fenix 7X, Forerunner 965, Fenix 8 AMOLED, and Enduro 3. I find Garmin completely overloaded; most of the data they analyze is not really useful, like “Stamina,” just to name one example. Additio

Garmin airport staff said 40% of their sales are the Forerunner 165. Why is it so dominant?
Honestly, it’s the sweet spot. The Forerunner 165 gives you like 80–90% of what most runners actually use (GPS, HR, training metrics, AMOLED screen) without the price jump of the Forerunner 265 or Forerunner 965. Most people don’t need maps, triathlon modes, or super advanced analytics, they just wa

Does swimming really burn this many calories?!
I picked up swimming several months ago. Just last week, I finally upgraded from my super old garmin forerunner 235 to a new forerunner 965. I was able to track a swim at the pool for the first time with the new watch and was stunned at how many calories that the garmin app and strata said I burned.

No rucking for Fenix 7 pro
https://www.reddit.com/r/Garmin/s/NNYCBRWfdh After the launch of the Fenix 8, the Fenix 7 (and 7 Pro) practically stopped receiving new features. The same thing is happening now with the Forerunner 955 and 965 after Garmin released the Forerunner 970.

Watch OS 26
Fyi if you check r/garmin & r/garminwatches, battery life is better for sure but they tend to drop support on their watches quickly. Eg. Epix 2 Pro / Fenix 7 didn’t get the new UI, isn’t getting new features, Forerunner 965 isn’t getting a lot of new features after the release of the 970, and they’r

Would Strava be able to track my distance ran at 5-a-side football?
yes it would track it, the accuracy probably wouldn't be very good though. even with my garmin forerunner 965 it's a bit iffy

Amazfit vs Garmin
As a owner of several Garmin watches over years, currently have a Forerunner 965 I strongly disagree regarding the daily suggested workouts, they are mostly a joke. Garmin software is also so so, and the connect app is a mess. Garmin sleep tracking another weakness. So instead go for a Forerunner 96

Race / Race S vs. Garmin
Hello - I currently have a Garmin Forerunner 965, but I’m on my second faulty device in the past year and can’t justify giving Garmin more money. I’m wondering if anyone has switched to Suunto recently and enjoyed their experience.
I’ll primarily use it for general road running (I live in a city w
