Hardloophorloge
Ik heb de forerunner 955 solar en train nu via garmin coach dat werkt goed. Koop de horloge via marktplaats en het is niet eens te duur. Solar is handig voor je blootstelling aan de zon te tracken, niet voor de extra batterijduur.

Investing in quality running gear - what's actually worth it?
I got my Nathan running vest in 2019 and have probably clocked around ~4000 miles in it and I love it. They don’t make that size anymore so not sure where I would turn, I’m petite too (5’2” and basically no boobs lol) but I would still think Nathan is the love for vest. Quality has been great. Got m

Enduro 3 or Vertical 2
Having switched from Garmin FR955, I’m so happy with my Vertical 2. Simple, better layouts, bigger and brighter screen (never thought I’d move away from MIP) and a smaller case. I’m drawing about 10.5% battery per day with about 14-18 hours of activities recorded each week, mostly with GPS on. Regul

Garmin v. Coros
Garmin forerunner 955 solar, it’s probably a little out of your budget, it’s 2 generations old but has an insane battery life. I’ve had mine 2 years and I wear it everyday. I can get over 10hrs of GPS running before I need a charge and with no gps a charge is good for close to 2 weeks.

Pebble Round 2 comparison
This is a great comparison, especially with the Garmin Forerunner 955 because it is likely using the same screen but without the solar bezel and solar overlay.

Should I get an Epix Gen 2 ?
So far the only valuable component of Garmin Connect+ is trails. But even that is not required. Everything else is literally bells and whistles that have no connection to the rest of the functionality. For the battery life I would suggest Forerunner 955 Solar over Epix 2 - that AMOLED screen really

Are you all carrying a GPS? Which model?
Garmin forerunner 955 with solar. I’m in FL so with a daytime ruck or run 2-3x/wk and also tracking a couple night runs and some workouts I get 2-3wks off a charge. eBay for the win, a little rubbing alcohol and a new wristband and you’ll save 3-500$

Slimmest Watch with Vibration Alarm
Nope. I'll probably go for Garmins Forerunner 955 Solar. It does everything I could want from it (Cisco also has no weekly alarms; so thats a bummer; I noticed that like 3 days after posting this), it works offline without the app while still keeping basically all functionality, has good battery lif

Which is your preference?
Quartz or smartwatches are my go to (only if the smartwatch has a long battery life and isn’t backlit. I couldn’t be bothered to wind a mechanical watch even though I find them cooler than any other kind, and I couldn’t be bothered to charge a smartwatch frequently. I wear a Garmin forerunner 955 be
