Just committed to the Vertical 2 from Garmin FR955. Things I’d like - Resume later feature, but I understand this is unlikely; Integration with a better weather service like Windy (including UV index and a precipitation radar visible in activity mode); Widget for Intervals.icu; distinction between v

Ik heb de forerunner 955 solar en train nu via garmin coach dat werkt goed. Koop de horloge via marktplaats en het is niet eens te duur. Solar is handig voor je blootstelling aan de zon te tracken, niet voor de extra batterijduur.

Any watch with all-system multiband would be better than your Venu 2s. My garmin FR955 with that is substantially better than my FR245, but I do still have some issues with instant pace not feeling right in heavy cover scenarios. Note that how bad trees are varies a bit - high humidity and rain also

Having switched from Garmin FR955, I’m so happy with my Vertical 2. Simple, better layouts, bigger and brighter screen (never thought I’d move away from MIP) and a smaller case. I’m drawing about 10.5% battery per day with about 14-18 hours of activities recorded each week, mostly with GPS on. Regul

Same. I was worried moving from Garmin having read many reported issues but can confirm that the Vertical 2 is matching my former Garmin (FR955) OHR performance.

Garmin forerunner 955 solar, it’s probably a little out of your budget, it’s 2 generations old but has an insane battery life. I’ve had mine 2 years and I wear it everyday. I can get over 10hrs of GPS running before I need a charge and with no gps a charge is good for close to 2 weeks.

If i have to be honest i switch from Garmin FR955 Solar to Coros Pace pro running 4 times per week didn’t see any difference in my results from tracking my HR, sleep etc.. So overall im very happy with my decision for switch. Also the simplicity of the app and the watch is what i like the most.

Done this for you just now. I am the odd one out of most of my friends/family/colleagues who wear Garmins, in that I turn loads of stuff off. I don't even have wrist heart rate turned on on my FR955, so no sleep data. It actually makes quite a lot of things bonkers, but worth it for me. I hope it's
