Fenix 8 Pro is useless...

What brought people to Garmin? Battery life, MIP screen (for some), history of updating software for a long period and no monthly subscription. Prices were just a bit more expensive than an apple watch. Fenix 7 pro was the last great watch from Garmin. Hopefully mine will keep working for many years

Bon finalement

Garmin Fenix 8 Pro MicroLED next to my old 6 Pro Solar

I’m kind of in the same camp. I’m not seeing the value in the micro led. It was supposed to bring better battery life as some sort of middle ground between amoled and MIP. according to Garmin’s website the display has the same PPI as well so you’re not even getting a higher resolution screen, it’s j

Finally got my Fenix 8 pro

The layout and presentation of the Fenix line is great in my opinion, however the processing speed and refresh rate is very disappointing for a $1k watch. These things should be extremely snappy and the AMOLED response should be much quicker and smooth like the AW. I think Garmin's R&D division is s

Garmin fenix 8 solar flashlight bleed

I have the solar version. I found this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/GarminFenix/s/CAKxDpz8Px. Apparently almost everyone has this. Some more some less. Don’t bother about it. Replacing it someone said Garmin told them it’s within tolerance. You could try of course, yours it a bit excessive

I have a 9 year old Fenix 5X why should I switch?

My F6S Pro broke and I ended up sending it to Garmin to fix instead of buying the F8. Well, actually, I paid for the refurb F6 planning to sell it but when I tried the F8 AMOLED, I ended up not liking it. I wanted to get the F8 solar but the sale ended so I just went back the the F6S. No ragrets.

Came from a garmin to ultra 3. Feel great about my decision

I had Fenix 8 amoled and MIP as the watch faces were so ugly and I moved towards more battery. But at the end I got an ultra 3 and thank god I did that! It’s a proper watch with a proper accurate software.Even using it offline is 10 times better than the Garmin for accuracy. Managed to get 4 days bat

Garmin fenix 8 solar flashlight bleed

I have done further research. Garmin engineers confirmed the leakage on solar models is normal. Replacing makes no Sense as most devices have this. Even the Fenix 7 Solar series had this leakage

Apple S7 to Garmin

I tried the Enduro 3, it works, and is the best Fenix 8 line model imho. Though I didn't like the reflections on the screen. It is useable, but I expected a much clearer display (an issue since Fenix 7). Battery is great, it feels light, and size is big but didn't feel big for me. Instinct 3 Solar T

AMOLED or Solar MIP ? Which one to go for 47mm ?

I went from a small Garmin 945 and bought an all sing n dancing Fenix 8 Pro 51mm, just because it was actually cheaper than all the other models and it was fab apart from the screen was wayhay too bright and the auto dimming/brightening was awful and can't be turned off, I returned it and just waiti
