Best Garmin Watch for MTB

Fenix or epix line are both good, my epix Gen 2 is great can't fault it.

I'm Impressed. Testament to the sapphire glass and DLC coating, 9 years on.

Damn and the scuff marks just age it like a fine wine! I’ve had great reliability with all of my Garmin devices over the years. Currently using an Edge MTB and Epix Pro Gen 2, they are both seemingly indestructible. The Epix literally keeps me healthy, and not so gently coerces me into training ever

Vertical 2

I have a Fenix 8 and a vertical 2 and here is what i think. Sleep tracking on the Suunto doesn't work for me. Sitting around and watch tv in the evening is considered sleeping with Suunto. Therefore a lot of metrics are not right since i sleep much longer on the watch than i really do. For hiking i

Should I wait for Fenix 9?

I am on Epix pro gen 2. Its working brilliantly for me so far.If the fenix 9 has there 3 things I am definitely upgrading.- A unit body like the Huawei GT racer 3 for example I like that kind of aesthetic. Sleek.- Instant pace updates(this is more software related).- I don't mind a high price but I

Switch from fenix 8

I’m using an Epix 2 and got the opportunity to use a Vertical 2 for a week. I loved the watch, it’s fast and easy to use. Just like it was said before, the lack of buttons gives way less ways to have shortcuts (which I use a lot). You would be likely to put the light on one meaning just another shor

Fenix or Epix

I have epix pro gen 2, fenix 8 and enduro but basically I got tired of fenix 8 and sold it. Now my daily is epix pro gen2 to be honest the os version on this is more smoother than the fenix 8/ enduro

Weekly Buying/trading/selling advice, pre-orders and shipping Megathread

Hello! I am very close to purchasing my first Garmin watch. Coming from an Apple Watch Series 4 that I wore religiously for 5+ years until the battery become unusable (1/2 day on low power mode). I am pretty fitness focused running 3 days and swimming and lifting 3 days a week at my peak. Now I typi

Fenix 8 Pro crashes

That’s really odd. I hate not trusting the device as I purchased it for that exact reason. Never had these issues in my epix pro gen 2 either. I’ve still not had any answers back from support either.

Coros Apex 4, Suunto Vertical 2, Suunto Race 2, or Garmin Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar

Garmin. My experience with Coros is plastic cheap junk. App was buggy as hell and the watch simply stopped working after about 2-3 years. It was a good cheap entry workout watch for me, but just didn't last. My Garmin epix 2 is still going strong 5+ years later. It is my everyday watch and I use it

Should I wait for Garmin Fenix 9 or just go for Fenix 8 pro

If they could just give us wireless charging I would be so happy. I am so over the charge port for this watch since it can be finnicky for me. I have the Epix Pro Gen 2 and love it. It is occasionally slow but not enough to be an issue for me.
