Dog gps fence collars
Here's an article that addresses all the issues with them. While I have no experience with GPS collars, I can tell you Garmin tracking collars are only accurate enough to get within eyesight of the dog. And it gets worse in the woods. Another thing to look out for is the update rate. Ever used a che

FB marketplace find, should I buy it?
I think Id pass on this particular unit. The GPS band on the collar is taped up and no stimulation. The 320 is decent but not what I would pay for the unit. Kinda of weird to throw a Sportdog lanyard on a Garmin so tells me they have been through a couple systems. Just looks rough in my opinion.

Tractive
I bought a tracker that I don't use at this point. It was an impulse buy, and I wish I did more research. Most of these trackers require cell service, and mine has a base that needs to be plugged in somewhere with wifi. This doesn't always work with our lifestyle, so I can't use it even if I wanted

The more I run him the more he needs to run.
There are also other brands that make good GPS collars - look for true GPS collars for hunting dogs, not the cellar based GPS collars that require proximity to a cell tower. Also - if you're not in the U.S., it's possible that the Garmin Alpha won't work. Eg: I'm in Canada and the Alpha uses a frequ
