Got frustrated at tablet gaming so got myself a portal!

Sweet! I wish I could afford a Portal for the DualSense features, but it's not in the budget so I ended up getting the Gamesir G8 Galileo controller a couple weeks ago. It has completely changed how much I'm able to game, I love the portability, and my daughter loves that I'll no longer fall asleep

Didn't know I bought a Switch2-like device too

The g8/g8 plus are huge for comfort. Have you checked the X2/X2s? They have the same lenght but with a flat design. I have a G8 Galileo and I love how it looks when my s24u is plugged, feels like an actual console, but I pick it up outdoor only when I have a backpack unfortunately.

I’m looking for opinions on the GameSir G8 +, I’m looking for something IOS and moonlight compatible that is ergonomic and comfortable for long sessions with larger hands, my backbone is great by slightly too small

Consider G8 Galileo, since it is much lighter than G8+ and G8+ MFi according to my googling . I am G8+ user(the one that can run both wired and wireless), I would say wireless mode is not needed at all (noticeable Bluetooth latency), also wireless means gamepad has batteries that makes it heavier. GameSir 8 Galileo still worth it now?

Asking if anyone has this controller is moot, you are on the Gamesir subreddit, there will be many people that own this. It's good, it's sturdy, quiet; but the D-pad is loud and clicky so I avoid using it on planes or in bed with someone. I use the X5 Lite instead for travel. The G8 Galileo will not

I absolutely love my backbone but can someone recommend me something that has a bigger grip almost like an Xbox controller on either side, I find the backbone uncomfortable after long periods of time

I absolutely love my gamesir g8 Galileo it plugs into my USB and can even fit an iPad mini apparently

MCON ruined clamp-style mobile controllers for me

Yeah, and as much as I like the G8 Galileo the bluetooth version would CONSTANTLY get activated by various button presses, there's no way to 'lock' it to be off. And man I'm not adding even MORE bulk by putting it in a case within my backpack.

Help please 🥲

He might have been talking about a controller attachment. Search for a "Gamesir G8 Galileo" for an example of what I'm talking about. They connect to a phone via either Bluetooth or USB C (depending on the model) and then allow you to play emulators on your phone like you were holding a Nintendo Swi

Tablet for Moonlight/Jellyfin

It is damn near perfect for streaming in every way, and so is the G8 Galileo. You can mod it without help in a minute with some toe nail clippers and maybe a box cutter. Even easier if someone helps you hold it apart while you snip. If you plan on long gaming sessions with this setup, don't think of

Just searching for a quick opinion

Same phone 👋 I'm using 0.1.1 with turnip t24 drivers and it's running pretty great. Most things run at solid FPS and I can get above 30 FPS from demanding games like Zelda and Xenoblade and pair it with a Gamesir G8 Galileo for a great travelling switch experience
