Just found this group [shutter release button] (the screw-on kind) users beware!
As the moderator of r/Fujifilm_X100VI, I've noticed ongoing discussions over time on other subs about soft shutter release buttons (particularly the screw-in accessories like the classic red ones) and claims that they will damage or "destroy" the shutter mechanism on the X100VI or other Fujifilm cam

I sorta quit photography by accident.
Get a Fujifilm and call it your creative therapist. There's an awesome community for film simulations and if you are only shooting to capture memories, it's a great camera system for that. I have the X-T5 and an Sony A7RIVA for both purposes. Great images for paying clients too. Cheaper than full fr

With interchangeable lens
Many say that the FujiFilm X-E5 is an interchangeable lens version of the X100VI. The only things your missing is the ND filter and weather sealing. If you want something something with weather sealing look at an X-T5.

Owned/shoot both X-T5 and Zf? Regrets for travel & street vs full-frame performance?
I also contemplated these very same options, and I chose the X-T5. The X-T5 is more than all the features you listed, it is access to the entire Fujifilm X-System. The body, sensor and user experience of the X-T5 are only half the reason for my purchase; the X Mount prime lenses were the other. The

I’m torn between the Fujifilm X-T5 and the Sony A7 IV.
The sensor size does not have a “flattering” effect on body shape and size, that is solely the lens focal length, distance from subject, and angle at which the photo is taken. The flexibility of framing can also be addressed with what lens you are using, but I agree that generally just using full fr

Any issues with high humidity places?
I live in a place where it's so humid (71%-80% average) I had consistent issues with mold growth in my house and furniture. The only solution was to run a 50pt dehumidifier 24/7 to keep the humidity at 50%. That said, the only issue I had with my Fujifilm cameras fogging up is when I lug my X100T ar

Deciding between XT30, XT50, and XS20
if OP wants a professional grade camera then xt5 is a great choice. The Fujifilm X-T5 and X-T50 share the same 40MP sensor and processor, offering nearly identical image quality. The X-T5 is a professional-grade camera featuring robust weather sealing, dual SD card slots, better battery life, and su

New X-T50 vs Refurbished X-T5
I'd go for the X-T5 if an extended warranty can be purchased from Fujifilm. The dual card slots and bigger battery are nice to have. Unfortunately, some refurbished gear still has issues, but I don't know if that is the case for Fujifilm.

What Cameras for Bikepacking??
ngl i had the same problem with my big dslr getting wrecked on a dusty trip. switched to the Olympus Tough TG-6 and it's been a game changer for bikepacking - fully waterproof and dustproof so no more sand anxiety. packs tiny too. if you want interchangeable lenses, look at the Fujifilm X-T5 with th
