As the moderator of r/Fujifilm_X100VI, I've noticed ongoing discussions over time on other subs about soft shutter release buttons (particularly the screw-in accessories like the classic red ones) and claims that they will damage or "destroy" the shutter mechanism on the X100VI or other Fujifilm cam

I also contemplated these very same options, and I chose the X-T5. The X-T5 is more than all the features you listed, it is access to the entire Fujifilm X-System. The body, sensor and user experience of the X-T5 are only half the reason for my purchase; the X Mount prime lenses were the other. The

If I could upvote this several times, i would have😅 My X-E5 has just arrived today, and i can tell you already there’s not a single drop of regret. I have the Xpro2 and I just sold the XT5 to buy the XE5 in its place. Many comments already told you to get the Xpro3 for its “pro features” but lets be

As for the body itself, others have already given you some

I guess OP just needs to prioritise: Want film sim SooC? Then Fujifilm. Want (fairly) compact? Then X100VI or X-E5. Want interchangeable lenses? Then X-T5 or X-E5. Want something that doesn’t feel like a toy? Then X100VI or X-T5. 🤷♂️

I did that exactly choice a cpl of days ago. I have previously owned a X-T20 (and a lot of other cameras including Sony A7 III). After testing the X-E5 I felt it was too bulky for me. I'm not a huge fan of a rangefinder solution on a digital camera, since its more for esthetics and shape (making it

It's a solid, good value, well-built, and still high performing hybrid photo/video camera. I feel like it occupies the value sweet spot in the Fuji lineup which is why I bought mine. The X-T5 or X-H2S certainly have better specs, but I could not cost justify them, especially when I had lenses to buy
