Photographers who went from Full Frame to APS-C?
I worked as a photographer for ~40 years. In 2013 I switched from Canon FF to Fujifilm, because I needed lighter weight equipment to continue to be physically able to work. The early Fuji cameras had fine image quality but terrible autofocus and user interfaces. But those things improved and the ima

Owned/shoot both X-T5 and Zf? Regrets for travel & street vs full-frame performance?
I also contemplated these very same options, and I chose the X-T5. The X-T5 is more than all the features you listed, it is access to the entire Fujifilm X-System. The body, sensor and user experience of the X-T5 are only half the reason for my purchase; the X Mount prime lenses were the other. The

Full frame v. Crop Sensor Image Quality?
I just jumped from Fuji XF (X-T5) to Nikon FX (Z5 ii). I loved Fuji, shot it for nearly 5 years, and owned almost all of their lenses at one point or another. So why did I move to Nikon? Because I found that 95% of my shooting with my Fuji (as opposed to my Ricoh pocket cams) was either in service o

Is Fujifilm enough for a career in photography?
Short answer: Yes, Fuji is enough. I shoot documentary family, event and wedding photography on Fuji and the smaller size and retro style are great for my documentary style (the camera is perceived as less intrusive). That said, I have upgraded to the X-T5 at some point for the considerably better A

Confused about photography process with Fuji
Canon/Nikon/Sony dominate the pro market, but Fujifilm isn't absent, and they are much more represented in some particular niches ("fine art wedding photography," (both in the wannabes and the good ones), being one). They're also strong among documentary/street photographers that get published. Fuji

Concert photography of 2026 so far (Z6III and Zf)
I was on Fujifilm before Nikon. I had an X-T5 and a ton of prime lenses. I actually loved the system so much, in some ways more than Nikon but the AF was so inconsistent and I had to use only prime lenses to get good enough exposures in low and dark venue lighting to compete with full frame f2.8 zoo

I’m torn between the Fujifilm X-T5 and the Sony A7 IV.
I have owned and used a Fujifilm X-T5 and a Sony a7III for weddings in the past. If you see yourself photographing more weddings/events in the future I would go for the Sony. It has an amazing AF system and tons of lens support. If you're only going to dabble in weddings/events then the X-T5 is way

X-T30iii (or x-M5?) vs X-E5
I was debating between the XT-50 and the XE5 but my wife wanted the XT-50 so it was an easy decision. Now that I have the XT-50, I think it's a great camera, way smaller than the XT5 and very capable. The XT-50 with the XF27mm is very fun to shoot with. AF is not perfect but I never expect great AF

Torn between the Fuji xm5 and lumix s9
Happy to answer what I can and glad you found the videos helpful! You'll definitely get banding with the S9 with LED lights are around. How bad it is depends on the scene. Autofocus is going to be superior than anything Fuji has, at least when it comes to continuous AF. You can definitely shoot with

"A graceful Egret". Captured on my Fujifilm X-T5 with the XF 150-600mm lens, and I still cropped the image considerably. Processed in Lightroom Mobile for color-correction and such, still very basic/minimal editing. It was my very first outing doing bird photography with the intent of capturing bird
