You will not produce nicer photos with the X-T50. Here's the difference between 40mp and 44x33 medium format 102mp, when viewed on web/socials. The difference between the 26mp and 40mp are even less unless you are pushing at the very very limits of cropping while trying to print. Anyone who is sayin

Posted this on a previous ‘Fuji increasing prices’ post, spoiler, it’s not strictly the tariffs’ fault: “Obviously tariffs have a huge impact on their pricing, but not entirely and that only applies to 2025. Fuji shares some blame itself. Plenty of brands out there (not including cameras) haven’t in

I think Fujifilm really messed up with this generation’s budget models like the X-T50 and X-E5. They could’ve easily stuck with the older sensor (or even the lower-resolution one from the H2S) and just added IBIS. A few years ago, if you wanted to buy a Fuji, you had clear options: entry-level lines

Thank you so much for your reply. I’m asking precisely because I have no experience with Fujifilm and wanted to hear different perspectives. My initial thought was the X-E5, partly because the 23mm kit lens really intrigued me based on the specs (though, of course, actual use is a very subjective ma

Something nobody has mentioned is that the X-S20 has fewer custom modes than the other 3. The X-T50, X-T5, and X100VI all have 7+1 unlabeled custom modes. These modes are mostly for changes in the IQ menu, so they are for your Fujifilm Simulation Recipes (you can rename the profiles as well). The X-

These are some fantastic points. I absolutely did think about them, just didn't want the post to read like a spreadsheet :) Ergonomics: That was a major concern, especially given that my only camera upgrade up to this point—from an Olympus OM-D E-M5 to the Panasonic Lumix G9—was largely motivated by

Don’t get a Fujifilm if you have kids, coming from a dad that just switched from an X-t50 and x100vi to a Sony A7C II then to a Nikon ZF (Sony was technically perfect, but didn’t feel fun to shoot).

Hmm then to be honest I would go Nikon Zf. It has film recipes as well, built quality is way above Fujifilm. It has fantastic big EVF and best in the market manual focus assists to shoot with brilliant Voigtlander lenses. I wouldn't buy XE5/X-T50 for EVF experience. Choose X-T5 for better EVF if it

It’s a combination of a lot of things, the EVF is worse, no OVF, buttons/controls all feel cheap, body feels cheap, has a film sim dial which I had on my x-t50 and didn’t like. And not having a 23mm f2 is a huge loss. If you want a zoom lens then x-t5 is a better choice. IMO x-e5 as a package doesn’

That is excellent information...Thank you! As a landscape, wildlife and product photographer, I use the Nikon Z8 FF System for BIF and Macro work, and the Fujifilm X-System for most everything else. I love the X-H2 for its ergonomics, handling and robustness, and I also use an X-T50 (Same 40mp senso
