Most overrated camera
I still believe the ae1 cost as much as a Nikon f2, f3. Also fujifilm x trans ii cameras used cost 500 dollars. Omg this is insane. I have the xt20 and xt4. Both are overpriced used lol.

How often do you use full manual?
I only use manual mode. I learned on cameras that didn't really have the auto features and when I tried using those auto features I got frustrated with them and just never used them. I don't find it difficult to use manual mode. I'm using a Fujifilm XT4 so I can change all the settings really easily

Nikon Z5II Announced
Nikon is pushing hard into video and that’s just what video people want. I really hope they keep some photography-first camera with a 2-way-tilt screen like Fujifilm did with the x-t4 -> x-t5. Would probably be a potential z7 but who knows what even to do with this part of their lineup…

Photos I Took on my Recent Road Trip Through the North Island
Fujifilm X-T4. It's the lenses that really make the difference though, I used both 56mm f/1.2 and the 23mm f/2 lenses on this trip.

If Leica didn't exist, what other brand would you be using?
Hasselblad. Ive got a few cameras from a few different brands... excluding my Leica stuff, some of those cameras include a Nikon D850, Fujifilm X-T4/X-E3/X100V, Hasselblad 500 C/M, Nikon F/F2/FM/FM2, then a bunch of Olympus and Canon and some other brands. My Leica Ms are by far my most used cameras

Wanna buy my first camera for getting into photography/videography/cinematography under 1000 euro. What should I get??
Look into Fujifilm. You‘ll get a used XT4 for under 1000€ and it will give you 4K 60fps 10bit. You won’t get the same with Sony unless spending a lot more. I‘ve been using mine professionally for years :)

What are we buying ourselves for Christmas?
Probably gonna get irresponsible with it and get a new camera and lenses. Fujifilm xt3 or xt4, most likely. Not sure if the extra 400 or so for the xt4 is worth it when I could get another lens for that much.

Bought the Z6 with the Nikkor 24-70mm f/4 S only 9k shuttercount for 1000€
Get a 40mm. I picked up a Z6 for around $900CAD last year with 20k shutter count. These cameras are an absolute steal on the used market. I love my Fujifilm cameras but a used xt4 is $1500CAD and a x100t is $1200CAD. There's no hype at all around the old Z cameras. They're not what the cool kids are
