u/Suspicious_Agent8903 . The feeling's mutual. They likely did that to prevent cannibalizing the XT4 then. Still, they could've rewarded XT3 loyal owners with the film sim after the XTrans5 processor arrived in 2022 but probably like any other company, they would rather focus software updates on cur

Because Fuji’s a) autofocus was actually horrid, and operation speed wasn’t too stable nor predictable before xt3 generation. B) because people get ideas from internet and internet is getting paid by fujifilm to hype up new products to increase sales and revenue; not the older ones that company won’

I would make the dangerous argument of asking if there is any upside. Compared to XTrans IV, the XTrans V sensor is higher res but performs worse at higher ISOs. You would have an extremely hard time telling the visual difference between 26mp and 40mp at ISO 800 and up. Take a look at this: https://

hey friend, congratulations on your new camera, I recently moved over from a fuji xt3 to a z6iii and I couldn't be happier I think you will find that new nikon full frame bodies really mean business, I also experienced a lot of little drawbacks with my fuji that made me switch, for me fujifilm is mo

No, you’ll regret it. Keep the x100vi so you have 2 cameras to choose from. Ovf and form factor. Xt5 is very similar to the xt3, and the sensor is the same as x100vi. It’s a worthy upgrade but just do it when you can. Seems like you’re shooting sports with the xt3 and you’re happy with it, so I’d ho

I need reach and clinical sharpness for distant subjects. Depending on distance (conditions you've already noted) and where the subject is, this may be difficult at times. I am talking grounded animals vs birds, but even perched birds with darker surroundings or within darker areas, you may not get

Oh you asked for it... It's story therapy time. I struggled for the past 6 years to find an affordable lightweight yet capable camera for weekend adventures, family, hiking, & travel. Pre 2018 I was using a Canon 7D Mark II for professional work and had a Canon M50 for personal use. After the 7D shu

Your cam needs a motherboard replacement brother, had the same problem in my Xt3 . Fujifilm is dead for me, been a user since 2018 but the cameras have progressively become more and more unreliable. Xt2 and xt3 had flex cable issues right within 1.5-2 years of use then the xt3 also had this resettin

As someone who owns a Nikon F100, I have used it for shooting motorsports (F1, F2, IndyCar, and Rally), as well as some wildlife, and its autofocus has performed better than that of my digital Fujifilm XT3. Without a question, the F100 has some of the best autofocus you can get for a film camera (ma
