Is monochrome worth the wait?

I used to shoot paid gigs but don't do that anymore. I have way more cameras than I'd like to admit. I picked up a Pentax K-3 iii Monochrome recently. The difference IMHO is phenomenal. I could not see it at first because I was too busy Pixel peeping. Only after a couple of hundred shots I've begun

Should I explain to the client why the photos look bad?

I did do a little sneaky thing by using the comparison tool at the "COMP" setting, where it scales the image the same. If you set it to FULL, you get the full pixel-peeping experience. That leads to a little tricker comparison, though... here's the X-T3 at ISO 200 vs the R5 II at ISO 12800. If we're

How did you get into Fujifilm? And what's your current situation?

I replaced my Canon EOS 5D (2006) at the end of 2014 with the X-T1. Replaced the X-T1 with the X-T3 in 2018. Maybe will retire the X-T3 if the X-T6 convinces me I need it. I feel like during the last 8 years, only <20% of the features I need actually improved meaningfully. It's IBIS and then... what

No IBIS on most Fujifilm cameras and not really any prime lenses with OIS, is this as big of a deal as people are making it out to be for my use case?

seems there is no consensus on anything in photography! For what it is worth, photography is art and science, the two mess with each other. You also don't exactly buy fuji APS-C for max sharpness. Look at this comparison between a X-T3, X-T5, Lumix S1R, and Sony A7R IV https://www.dpreview.com/revie

Direction of the Fujifilm as a company / system

I’d imagine they will keep on their current trajectory and continue to try to appeal to those who are newer to photography. Fuji cameras are a lot of fun and user friendly, though I feel like the biggest issue is the price and availability. It’s cool that they hold their value, but when you can swit
