Should i buy xm5?
Great photos on your iPhone 13 Pro. You will do well moving over to a Fuji body. The X-M5 is well priced package. Hard to beat for buying new. Older Fujis will still have pretty close image quality as advancements in sensor tech hasn’t really changed that much. For instance an image from an X-T2 or

What camera should I get?
The X-T4 Mirrorless Kit: (body + XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4) even against pricier full-frame flagships (€3000+), X-t4 IS THE Best Camera because no expensive model matches it. Other than the X-S20 which is the same with PASM instead of retro dials. I cannot insist enough on how much this camera is an actual

Vlogging on the xs20
TBH you’d be fine going either way. Fuji’s autofocus is poor relative to other systems today but is still much better than autofocus systems from 10-15 years ago, and people have been vlogging since then and it’s fine. There will definitely not be pulsing in video as long as you’re smart with your a

Beginner dad: What’s the best hybrid camera hybrid (S9 vs other options) for my situation?
Check out the Fujifilm X-S20. If you're in the US, check out Greentoe. This was before the world went fully to shit, but I was able to get my body only for a little less than original retail, and that was when the market had 2x tariff bumps on it. I got mine for like $1250, no tax or shipping iirc.

Adding a s9 for B roll
I'm going to record a video on it today. I've been putting off making a video. As someone who owns or has owned the X-M5, X-S20, S9 and S5II/X, I see them mentioned a lot in the same circles over and over again. Long story short, ergonomics, reliability, build quality, features. Very broad, I know,

Current setup?
Ahah ok! I just did a wedding with a Fujifilm XS-20 + sigma 17-40mm 1.8 mounted on a rig with v mount battery and monitor and found it exhausting! I plan to change my system but the weight is an important factor for me....

Is selling to mpb worth it and is this too much?
Hey I'm sonewhat in the same boat as you... But more like the aftermath, after the purchase. I'm also still pretty young(21) and have experienced what you probably might go through with a expensive investment. When I was your age (yes being an adult made me talk like this now 🥲) I was really interes

Official Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know! April 03, 2026
Hi! I need some advice. I'm buying my first camera and I want to get into the fujifilm system. I want to do mostly photography but also a bit of video. I'm not sure whether to buy the xs20 or the xt30iii. I know the xs20 is better because of the grip, IBIS and battery, but the price difference is qu

Having unable to find a reasonably priced Fuji X100V/VI led me into this purchase. Z Fc | TTArtisan 75mm F/2.
I totally agree. I have a Fujifilm X-S20 as well, and I find it performs better most of the time, especially in low light. I love how Fuji’s high ISO noise resembles film grain, whereas the Nikon’s noise feels a bit more 'digital.' That said, on a sunny day, the Z fc definitely gets the job done. I

Which of these used cameras would be good for a beginner?
You won't go far wrong with a Fujifilm X-S20 and a 15-45mm kit lens Great camera to learn on imo, manual dials and switches.. and will still take great pics. Should be able to get for around that budget or so
