You got the right one, pard! I started with an X-S10 and 70-300, then moved up to the X-H2S / XF150-600. I loved the results. Then two things happened. Fujifilm screwed up autofocus with their endless firmware updates, and I picked up my photo rig "wrong" and severely sprained my wrist...like I coul

Well, that's a bit more than I had, but...you could keep the rest of your Fujifilm kit and still go with the OM-1/100-400, as that's the heaviest stuff (although the AF on the X-S10 is not great either frankly). I use the 60mm macro as it's the best focal length for what I do (flowers, mushrooms, in

I am sure others will be able to comment more and better, especially on the X-H1, which I don’t have much experience with. Just two short comments: The X-S10 is a great, well-rounded camera. It works particularly well as a hybrid (which seems to be what you are aiming for). The only real „weakness“

I have been in the Fujifilm system since 2014 when I bought the X100T which I still have and I still take pictures with it. I also have the X-T2, X-T3 and X-S10. What is happening on the used Fuji camera market is beyond human understanding. I just wanted to say that it is incomprehensible to me tha

Hi, photographing father here. I started 1 1/2 years ago, when I got a Fujifilm X-S10 as my first camera to document my family (my daughter was then 18 months old). I have since been shooting 90% family pictures (including friends‘ families), some travel, some events, some street. The Fuji X-S10 is

When you say f1.4 you mean using them wide open? With the infamously bad Fujifilm autofocus I find it very difficult to shoot that open (x-s10).

(1) On those images, the shutter speed seems pretty low. If you want tack sharp images, it probably has to be higher (at least 1/500, probably more 1/800 or 1/1000). If those were supposed to be panning shots, those are difficult and take a lot of practice. The subject typically will never be 100% t

I recently upgraded from the Fujifilm X-S10 to the Sony A7Cii. Not because there was anything wrong with the Fuji, but because I wanted a second body anyway. The things I like about the Fuji: Better ergonomics, film simulations are really nice for SOOC pictures, for me, no editing was needed. Becaus

(1) Get a course on photography before you buy any gear. Just to get a feeling for the basics and for what you might want. Cheap way to quality education: Become a member on theschoolofphotography and take the beginner‘s course (and the Lightroom course if you want to). That‘s how I started and I fo
