This is incorrect. The XT-50 does not have three spaces on the film sim dial to save full recipes. You can only save other basic film simulations to the FS1-FS3 slots and all film recipe settings on XT-50 have to be accessed by setting the film sim dial to C and using the Q menu. Well, I just checked out how small the XM5 actually is, no wonder you're having issues, it's TINY. I'd recommend the smallrig cage with the offset cold shoe LINK, or at the other end of the spectrum just a simple $5 cold shoe adapter
