X-Half for a teen gift?

Hi from Brisbane! With the Fujifilm Australia cashback offer I think it's a good buy at $625ish. That's less than half the launch price. The X half will be a great present for your teen as it will allow them to be creative and have fun. If they get serious about photography, they can look at somethi

Please send help, I am severely overthinking my first camera purchase.

I've very happy with the Fujifilm X-T30 ii. It's a good step between " nice hobby" and " entry professional" camera. The built-in film simulations are fun to play around with, so you do you have to spend so much time in editing. Plus, it can be paired up with some of the instax printers to print ins

Road America Post-Race BTS

At $850, the original price tag was hard to justify, but snagging it for $550 turned out to be totally worth it. Once you get past the cost, the camera itself is fantastic. I main an X-T5, yet the X-Half has made everyday shooting feel fresh and fun again. Having the film simulation scroll screen ri

X Half or XM5?

As a casual, lifestyle camera, the X Half is fantastic. It's a lot of fun and I really love mine. But it has limitations, so if you're looking at getting into photography more seriously, or need the camera to 'do more', I think the XM5 will be a better investment. My main considerations would be:• W

Opinions on the fujifilm X Half?? Someone tried it yet?

I think this is exactly the kind of camera Fujifilm should be making to capture the casual market. It's a bit of a gimmick but it's fun, and it stops new users from getting lost in the weeds right away, as it's so easy to do. I do think the lack of flash is a huge missed opportunity, but otherwise,

Best point-and-shoot camera under €700 in 2026?

This sub is focused on analog point & shoot cameras, technically. However, i would recommend the fujifilm x half, which i’m seeing advertised new for around $600 USD (~€515). There’s also nothing wrong with buying used, mpb.com has leica c- and d-lux models in excellent condition advertised for ~€60

Another one of those posts asking if I should buy it...

so my first fujifilm camera ever was the x half. my background is in video and mostly production, loved photography but i really only used full frame sony mirrorless for work years ago. in 2020, i got a leica dlux7 and to be frank, the build quality, the menus, none of it screamed “take everywhere”.

My one complaint

If you have an inkling that you like the X half good chance you'd probably really like it. I got it on sale, and even then, knowing full well I am overpaying for the technical aspects. You're in part paying for the Fujifilm brand and the film sims, but you're also committing to the formalistic exper

Convince me not to buy the X100VI as a beginner

Get the Fujifilm x half refurbished and save that money. The x half is a fun camera that amateurs can toy with. The pictures won’t be professional but you will love them. follow the subreddit for both and see what pictures draw you in.
