Are there any good, quality European earphones/headphones?

I have both. Most of the Focals are made in France. I have the Stellias (very high end) The B&Os are made in China. I have the Portals for gaming and the H100 for casual/commute/travel.

I’m with you man. It took me 4 years to pull the trigger, constantly on my mind. I waited until I knew I had the financial stability to do it with peace of mind. I like them more than my Focal Stellia’s. I returned those, saved the $3000, and put it elsewhere

The Dynamic Duo (E3 and Utopia 2022)

Interesting. I should try to find a place where I can listen to the Utopia as a lot of people seem to really like them The only Focal I've tried is the Stellia and that was a huge disappointment, but I'm aware there's really no relation between those two.

Are Focal Bathys headphones a ‘buy it for life’?

True $300 is about bottom of the barrel when it comes to something I'd classify as audiophile. I tend to focus more on the TOTL models where the Focal Stellia or Utopia are very good. I also prefer wired over wireless as well. If mobile I'll use IEM's over wireless.
