What is a product that people consider "High End" but is actually trash?

I’m something of an audiophile and didn’t give Sony the credit it was due. I bought the Sony wh-1000xm6 and they sound as good or better than my Focal Bathys MG, Hifiman or B&W headphones. They’re my go-to now.

IS MOMENTUM 4 STILL WORTH BUYING TODAY? CAN IT STILL COMPETE WITH THE NEWLY RELEASED HEADPHONES THIS 2025 IN TERMS OF SOUND QUALITY?

I bought them a year and a half ago aprox, and dont ask why, but I also own Airpods Max, XM5, QC Ultra, Airpods Pro 2, XM4 and have tried regular QCs and Sonos Ace. My favorite sounding headphones have been the Airpods Max and the Momentum 4, specially with sound personalization, though, the Momentu

upgrading from PX7 S2 to PX8

The Px8 are comfy and have a nice warmth, but they're tuned like shit. Objectively. Every review you read will mention the muddy bass - maybe not in those words, it might say "the bass extends up thru the midrange" - nice way of saying, it's muddy as fuck. The px7 s2 is what sparked my interest in h

Bought px8 s2… wow!!

Glad you are having a great experience with the PX8 s2. I had them for a while and was underwhelmed by their performance. Noise canceling was (to me) poor and was not impressed by the sound quality. That said, I currently have the Focal Bathys MG and Bose ultra gen2. The Focals sound great and are v

Sadly gonna return them (Px8 S2)

I had the same issue with these. Try the Focal Bathys MG. Better sound and far more comfortable. The Focals stayed and b&ws went back.

PX 8S2 vs Focal Bathys

I have both and also the MG... Read it and I hope it can help you. Sound Performance The B&W Px8 S2 (The "Musical" Choice) Signature: It has a warm, lush, and bass-heavy sound profile. It’s designed to be smooth and "expensive" sounding rather than surgically accurate. Strengths: The low-end has

Worth the wait

Lots will surpass the m4. Maybe not in the price range, especially now that they are selling for $260. Focal bathys OG and MG wireless are way higher quality. Bower and Wilkins p8, noble audio fokus Apollo. All leagues ahead of the m4. Verging audiophile quality for wireless

Bose qc ultra gen2 doesn't feel premium.

If you think that's bad, you should see what actual cheap ones feel like. I don't think the QCU2s are that bad. If you want more premium stuff, you need to jump up to the next tier of audiophile wireless headphones. B&W PX8 S2, Focal Bathys MG, Dali IO-12, etc.
