The PX8 S2 is energetic out of the box; the recessed midrange, and boosted treble and low frequencies are how most consumer headphones are tuned, which is why some listeners will have issues with sibilance on certain sets. I had the same issue with these. Try the Focal Bathys MG. Better sound and far more comfortable. The Focals stayed and b&ws went back.
