Bought px8 s2… wow!!

Glad you are having a great experience with the PX8 s2. I had them for a while and was underwhelmed by their performance. Noise canceling was (to me) poor and was not impressed by the sound quality. That said, I currently have the Focal Bathys MG and Bose ultra gen2. The Focals sound great and are v

Sadly gonna return them (Px8 S2)

I had the same issue with these. Try the Focal Bathys MG. Better sound and far more comfortable. The Focals stayed and b&ws went back.

PX 8S2 vs Focal Bathys

I have both and also the MG... Read it and I hope it can help you. Sound Performance The B&W Px8 S2 (The "Musical" Choice) Signature: It has a warm, lush, and bass-heavy sound profile. It’s designed to be smooth and "expensive" sounding rather than surgically accurate. Strengths: The low-end has

Today I’ve returned my B&W PX8 S2’s

My tested recommendation: Get the Focal Bathys MG instead! The PX8 S2 reviews vs the actual experience are two different things I found. I ve been meaning to replace my Bang Olufsen H95 after 5 years. I had high hopes for the PX 8. they seemed to finally combine design and sound. I ve tried literally

What headphones to buy in 2026?

I have owned more of the high end headphones in this segment, so if you want to know here is my quick take:Airpods max 2 - great sound quality but nothing stands out, excellent noise cancellation, clamping force is huge for big heads and was the main reason i returned them. B&W PX8 S2 - Excellent so

Alternative for PX8S2 ?

If the $400 cost difference is not an issue, I'll say definitely Focal Bathys MG (I have both.) Or actually, the previous gen Px8!! (I have those too!) OG Px8 is not sibilant. I actually prefer their tuning (and clamping force/comfort/on ear feelings over the S2s.) I was going to sell them, but am k

HDB 630 vs Bathys OG (vs PX8 S2)

I had the Chance to demo both the OG and MG Bathys in the Focal & Naim shop in Paris (tested all presets: wireless and DAC modes + with and without the Mimi personalization + with and without the Dynamic EQ): The OG Bathys sounded great to my ears... Until I tried the MG. It was impossible to like o

PX7 S3 Review

The Focal Bathys sounded great! Definitely less emphasis in the bass, which is a bit of a negative for me, but you can EQ in the app - and it avoids being boomy like the Px7 (that I came from) sometimes feel. AptX Adaptive was just as good as the Px7, and there was definitely better clarity througho
