Alpha 65 Evo

Focal Alpha 65 Evo. 3 years in and I absolutely love them. The room isn't treated but I know it well, and with a good reference track I get a pretty decent mix.

I'm using a Focal Sub One with a pair of Alpha Evo 65s, very happy with the combo. They blend together seamlessly. I also use ARC room correction, which greatly helped even out the low-end.

I auidtioned Alpha Evos in store. And I have had a few Focals in my life. My impression of the 65s was that they have a sweet top end, clarity, smooth frequency response and driver integration, and a "pleasing quality" to the sound that is still accurate, but not unpleasant to listen to. Polite - sl
