The tension ring stuff was actually fixed recently in a new batch that Flydigi shadowdropped. They now ratchet instead of turning smoothly, so using the sticks doesn't turn the tension rings. The V5Pro sticks can't drift, as they are hall effect. They're the same as the Apex 5. I strongly recommend

Apex 4 was the goat when it launched. It was the only reason I got to know about Flydigi controllers. Otherwise everywhere it was 8bit doo or Gamesir.It is still a great choice but only thing I did not want was latency on wireless. Although you won’t notice it on story games but it is there. Apex 5
