Just got into vinyl and this is my setup so far 🎶

I just bought the same turntable with the fluance ai41 speakers, and I've been wearing out that same album along with Animals, Atom Heart Mother, along with Deep Purple's Machine Head and Master of Puppets. I love it.

suggestions for good record player

yes there is a big difference. Depends on what mom is expecting. Sounds like she wants a turntable with external powered speakers. Can’t really offer advice on this as i’m older and have different expectations. my suggestion is this. Being in Canada we get a break on this because it’s a Canadian com

Brand New to Turntables and Feeling Overwhelmed

I started off with an RT82, Ai61 speakers and a PA10 phono. My thoughts: RT82 is a good entry-level deck for its price point. If you can't (or don't want to) spend considerably more, and don't want to buy vintage or used, I think it's a good one to go with. The Ai61 powered speakers sound good to me

New here! What setup would be the best with a budget of $800-1000 (I want it closer to $800 lol)

Well, if you are a newbie then I'd recommend that you keep it simple and don't overspend. You'll need to learn how fragile phono cartridge stylii are, how to handle and store records, possibly how to keep stylus and records clean. So a Fluance RT 80 or 81 ($249-299, whichever your budget allows), an

After 2 years of listening to vinyl I finally upgraded to the Fluance rt82 and I’m so glad I did.

The speakers look be either the Fluance ai61 or ai41. I have the ai61 and love them

Should I get this

You could get a Fluance RT81 and speakers for $500 US. The RT82 would be a better option, but then you will need a preamp as well as powered speakers, but if you are looking for the cheapest option the RT81 has a preamp installed in it and their Ai41 powered speakers are great for entry level. This

Turntable Guides

Which phono preamp? Which Fluance speakers? The Magnat Monitor cost less and may be better than Fluance Ai41 and the Magnat add a built in phono preamp.

I'm getting the 1byOne H009

Fluance is a great company with a wide range of players. I got the RT81 and it was such a great player. Much more consistent and is rated one of the best entry level players and affordable as well. It also isn't going to damage your records overtime like the 1byOne or suitcase players will. The soun

RT81+ First Upgrade?

I assume you are currently using the phono preamp built in to the turntable. Usually these are fairly ordinary, so investing in a decent external phono preamp will ensure the full potential of the turntable/cartridge can be heard. Don't bother with a cheapie as it will be no better than the built in

Upgrades from Fluance Ai41 powered speakers for Fluance RT82 turntable? (x-post from /r/BudgetAudiophile)

Which way to go depends on what you're trying to achieve compared to what the Ai41s are doing right now. If it was me, I'd want more insight into what's happening in the music, and a more even tonal response than is typical with Chinese/Taiwanese powered speaker. It would be nice to get some more ba
