Awful experience with FlexiSpot
That sucks, I've purchased 2 flexispot standing desks, EN1 & EN2 and no issues with either.
Dont want to spend stupid money on a desk, what should i be looking out for when purchasing from sites like wayfair or amazon?
The Flexispot EN1 I had prior to upgrading was perfectly acceptable given the price I paid. I used it for about 2 years.

Live edge mounting on uplift standing desk frame
Route and flush IMO. I vote you put it to the edge as well if you can. I did have some flexispot En1s and I attached them basically in the middle to a butcher block as measured from the edge of the angle brackets, and that did work as well.
