Anybody buy a printer because of spite?

I had a flashforge creator 5 on order. I got sick of the delays and lack of communication so I ordered my U1 out of spite and I love it.

Bambu P2S v X2D v Snapmaker U1

I'm in a similar situation and am waiting a little longer to see how the flashforge creator 5 pro or sovol m1d turn out once the dust settles. The C5P but open source would be perfect but there seems to be some subpar design choices and initial teething problems with the firmware. Hopefully flashfor

3D Printer Gift - what to buy?

I'm going to vote for the snapmaker u1. I don't think I read what your budget is but I own one and I've been very impressed with it. Stay away from the flashforge Creator 5, they need some more time to work out all the manufacturing bugs and shipping. I did a pre-order and ended up having to cancel

Does my perfect 3D printer exist?

What you want doesn’t exist. In order to get more than one nozzle you need either a tool changer like Snapmaker U1 or Flashforge Creator 5. Both are over your 6 hundred price range. Or you can get a Bambu X2D with dual nozzle extrusion but it’s also outside of your price range. The realistic cost fo

Would you recommend the Anycubic Kobra S1 as a first printer for functional and engineering parts?

I can’t speak on engineering materials because I’ve never used them. But yes it would be a GREAT first printer. It was my third printer and it’s the easiest one to use. It outperforms my bambu & flashforge printers. My s1 max is better but also double the price. I just got my flashforge creator 5 on

P1s combo or flashforge

Flashforge creator 5 ends up being in the same category as p1s since I'm buying it from them directly and not through a local seller like bambu's printers, but it is a weird situation yeah Like you said what really matters is if the printer will stand the test of time. When I asked if their machines

We getting reality INDX copycat before every other brand?

Again, not talking about bambu, but the companies in general. Bondtech revealed INDX in March 2025.14 months later it's still far from being shipped.Of course there will be competitors trying to take advantage of it and get to the market. There is the difference between releasing something on paper a

Thinking of a U1..

Seems a lot of users are really forgiving about the tons of errors this machine experiences because most people just seem praise the machine and don’t even mention the bug ridden slicer or the bugs that happen while printing or even having to try again to load the filament. Yours and maybe one other

Pretty impressed

I would decide based on the price and from where you consider buying it. With friends we received in total 3 pcs of Flashforge Creator 5 Pro. Two of those are perfectly fine but 1 came totally crooked/bend and not from shipping damage. Box looks ok. It has been almost two weeks and yet my friend has
