Anybody buy a printer because of spite?
I had a flashforge creator 5 on order. I got sick of the delays and lack of communication so I ordered my U1 out of spite and I love it.

Creator 5 Pro Do's and Don'ts Guide?
I’ve had no issues so far. Take your time unboxing and assembling it. Note that the top cover isn’t square - pay attention to the 2 short and 2 long sides as you assemble it. When I first powered it up, I followed the setup menus, which included running the calibration process. It took quite some ti

Is there a place in town that would take 3d-printed scraps for recycling?
Hello fellow nerd! "Not really" is likely the answer here. Don't mix it in your recyclables either because my understanding is when they see 3D printing material your entire bag will be considered "contaminated" and go to the landfill instead of being processed. Better to just look into the new gene

Bambu Lab 3D printers contain a kill switch. After upgrading the 3D printer to a higher model, you need remote activation of the new board
Snapmaker U1, flashforge creator 5, both way better for multi material printing, and these are 3d printers, bc what's the point of sticking to one company again? And for budget option - sovol zero. I own one, i know people love to say it's printer you need to tinker a bit, but plain is good enough a

Looking for a good multicolor printer
I would look into the Snapmaker U1 or the Flashforge Creator 5 pro. The U1 has been out for a while and has a good community and good support. More Creator 5 reviews are trickling out now. Both of these machines are Tool Changers. This means that they can print multicolor with little to no waste, un

Upgrading from the A1 to either the P2S or the X2D... Opinions?
Worth noting that for basically the price of an X2D combo you could get the flashforge creator 5 pro, which is an enclosed four-head toolchanger with the same build volume, 320C nozzle and a heated chamber. If you think there's a chance that you want to do multicolour in any serious way in the futur

X2D vs P2S
X2D has the dual nozzle which I think is well worth it. It also has finer pitched belts that reduce VFA’s. I can’t see any reason to go with the P2s other than it’s $100 cheaper. Also I would seriously consider the Flashforge Creator 5 Pro or the snapmaker u1. I also have a p1s but for multicolor pr

Upgrade to P2S?
If you're going to save up, get the Snapmaker U1 or the upcoming Flashforge Creator 5. Maybe the new one Anycubic teased on April Fool's day even, if it's real. MMUs are the past. Toolchangers are the future. https://www.reddit.com/r/AnycubicOfficial/comments/1s8rl87/its_just_a_joke_or_is_it/

Looking at buying a bambu x2d.. have question.
The x2d isn't really a multi colour printer. It could do it, it would be fine, but its not really what its meant for. If you just want multi colour look at the snapmaker u1 or flashforge creator 5.
