Looking for a good multicolor printer

I would look into the Snapmaker U1 or the Flashforge Creator 5 pro. The U1 has been out for a while and has a good community and good support. More Creator 5 reviews are trickling out now. Both of these machines are Tool Changers. This means that they can print multicolor with little to no waste, un

First 3d printer P1S or P2S?

How flexible is your budget? If you want multicolor, something like the Snapmaker U1 or Flashforge Creator 5 will be way better for multicolor and waste way less filament. Over time, that can make up the price difference. I'd also stay away from Bambu in general. The company keeps doing shady stuff.

Torn between U1 and X2D

You can add 3mf files as objects into an existing project and it carries over painting, volume modifiers, fuzzy skin etc. Roughly 99% of the print profiles on makerworld are utter inexcusable trash anyway so when I'm printing other people's models I almost never end up printing them with the author'

Centauri Carbon 2 Vs Bamboo labs P2S

I do not own a bambu printer. As a matter of fact the only brand of printers I've used yet are Elegoo. I have the CC1 and the CC2. The CC1 with a canvas kit, assuming it works properly, is almost as good as a CC2. The CC2 does have some minor improvements, but the canvas kit for the CC1 adds the two

Trying to decide between Snapmaker U1 and Bambu X2D

I'm a beginner who read a lot recently, so I would say if you're interested in Multi-color/-material a real tool changer is the way to go. If you're only printing one material I would go for the X2D, just because of the option to have a second material for supports. For real multicolor/-material it

Anniversary Sale purchase

Had the P1S as my first intro to 3D printing, but quickly upgraded to the H2S when it came out. Primary reason was that I don't do multi-colour/material printing except on the rare occasion and the build volume was practical because I like to design and print functional parts as well as power tool i

Need help choosing my first 3D printer (Snapmaker U1 vs Bambu Lab P2S vs X2D AMS Combo... or something else?) (Architecture Student)

Vote for X2D here and I did read your whole post. 😆 Your concerns about third party and support are completely valid. If Bambu made a full tool changer like the U1 I’d say go for that. You can look at the Flashforge Creator 5 Pro for another option, but it also has exposed spools. Bambu’s H2S swaps

best 3d printer for beginners what did you end up buying for your first one?

Tech has really come a long way, but to be future proof i think you should get a toolchanger printer like the Snapmaker U1 or Flashforge Creator 5 Pro. These will really save you lots of time and money that would otherwise be spent on waste poop and nozzle purges
