This feels like the start of a bunch of micro purchases that all add up. If you read all the posts about people buying a better class of 3d printer - they all pretty much reference having an ender3 variant of some sort and being a night and day difference, me included. If I could give my younger sel

It comes out of the box pretty squared away. There are things you can do to improve the print quality, performance, etc., but my recommendation would be to follow the included setup guide and then try a few things out for yourself just to get the experience under your belt. Once you've worked with t

Depends on your budget. Someone mentioned the Bambu Labs A1. That is an absolute entry-level printer. Strong value for what you get, but the bed slinger nature and small print area can limit you. But if your budget is under $200, a great place to start. If your budget is higher, considering somethin

I print PETG on my AD5M without much issue now... but when I first tried i had similar issues. One major issue, which i didn't read in your original post post was the filament quality. For starters not all filament is equal.... but even more so, petg is far less forgiving than pla or pla+. That bein

The FlashForge multi-color module is called IFS. No need to confuse the people inventing new terms. From my opinion, this sub is getting flooded by questions from people not giving a clue how to use a 3D printer, which could really make you thinking that it's full of problems. From my experience, th

Way better method of monitoring your printer remotely than Flashforges awful app. Better control over just about every aspect of your printer. Bed mesh function that allows you to make sure your bed is physically level, which makes the auto-level way more accurate and prints come out better. Select

I would definitely start with the FlashForge wiki, and then on to YouTube. Tons OB videos out there and the get very specific to the printers. AD5M is a good starter to pick up on the 3d hobby — it’s not overly complex and does a decent job. I had one for about a year and then moved to mostly Bambu

The only thing I wish it had was a contained filament system, like my AnyCubic Kobra S1 where it can dry the filament and store all 4 spools. That was a real steal, I got the S1 Combo for about $450 at the time. It’s been a great machine, I have about 800 hours on it so far. My ATF is still my Flash

That squeaking noise is strange, but for the fan whistling, I recommend this: FlashForge Adventurer 5m (AD5M) Hot end retainer with fan duct (silencer) por Raym00n | Descargar modelo STL gratuito | Printables.com

I bought the FlashForge AD5M Pro, which reviews recommend for beginners. Pluck also recommends the AD5X, which can print several colors but is a bit more manual.
