I print PETG on my AD5M without much issue now... but when I first tried i had similar issues. One major issue, which i didn't read in your original post post was the filament quality. For starters not all filament is equal.... but even more so, petg is far less forgiving than pla or pla+. That bein

I’ve had great results with PETG on my ad5m. Used it when printing the enclosure and now it’s my primary filament choice for the extra durability it provides over PLA. I used FlashForge’s branded filament for the enclosure with the default settings and it printed great. I now typically use SUNLU bra

My AD5M worked essentially out of the box. It printed its little cube, and I did the bed leveling on the first print with Orca-Flashforge, and all was well. Hopefully yours will work as flawlessly. The only thing I would do is figure out the firmware version. I understand the latest firmware sucks,

No, flash print is slicing software, which is what formats the models for the printer. If you want to do designs there are some free options. Tinkercad is a good place to do some simple and free cad. Also I would recommend Orca or Orca-forge as a slicer instead of flash print. Better options and it

My son just got a spool of FlashForge flexible PLA yesterday. He loaded it on his AD5M, printed an airless ping pong ball in about 45 minutes with the stock PLA settings in Orca Slice. I was figuring he was going to be fighting it for days. Pleasantly surprised with the performance.

It's definitely 220x220x220mm build volume I have one with around 700 hours on it and they are great until they start having issues. Support sucks imo and I've had to replace my nozzle/hot end, extruder cable, and extruder board all within 3 months of owning it. I believe either the cable or board h

ZMOD is the only one I know of for the AD5X... For the AD5M there is Forge-X? Personally I'm running ZMOD on my AD5X - can't recommend it enough! Flashing that is the very first thing that everyone should do - kinda like using Edge to download Firefox! lol.

I like having the native orca slicer app instead of the outdated Flashforge fork. The only issue I'm having with Forge-X and my AD5M Pro is that the idle power off no longer works. Before Forge-X, on the stock firmware if the printer was idle for a while (30ish minutes?) it would eventually power of

I bought my AD5M, just over a year ago, for christmas. I never once used anything Flash Forge SOFTWARE branded. Not my intention but based on my research, seemed like going the fully open source route made the most sense. I started with raw open source OrcaSlicer, installed (at the time) beta driver

I had issues with my AD5m and I fixed it with disappearing purple Elmer’s glue sticks. Every single print would fail or spaghetti whether it was PLA or petg. Once I started using the glue it helped tremendously and I can reliably print. Also, I’m not sure if it helped me, but I give the machine exac
