Please help me and my husband settle a debate!! Where do you stand on backpack vs diaper bag?

I used a fjällräven kånken (a small backpack) (with my first) and I plan on doing that with our second, but our first child is old enough to use his mini kånken for things that he needs to carry around. I will say that we are in a car, most of the time, so can carry more stuff if needed and I exclus

Backpack or Tote Bag?

Choose a backpack. After a while your back and shoulders will thank you.I really love Fjällräven Kånken. It is my go to backpack. It is a good looking backpack that (for me) really is easy on the back.

How do y'all carry this stuff around?

I have one of those tiny backpacks (fjällräven Kånken mini). It has served me well over the years and it allows me to carry my sketchbook, art supplies and/or (smaller) crochet projects.

New 40 x 30 x 15 cm 18l volume personal item bag

Fjällräven kanken laptop 17 is 42x30x18cm. It's a square backpack and the 18 depth is mostly due to a front pocket so if thats not pully stuffed it is about 15, and has soft sides so easily fits in all sizer boxes. The front fully opens so it is very convenient to pack and fint things in, there's a

What is something that has surprised you that it stood the test of time?

My Fjällräven Kånken backpack. Had it for over a decade and it’s been everywhere with me: trips, uni, moving cities. Still looks fine. Genuinely did not expect a bag to be one of the most reliable things in my life but that’s where we are.

Welcher Wickelrucksack?

Wir nutzen einen stinknormalen Fjällräven Kanken mit einer Windeltasche und Wetbags. Tut uns einen guten Dienst.

MOLLE backpack

I wouldn’t focus on the aesthetics of a bag but rather look for one that is well made with reinforced seams and a good strong material. Especially if you don’t know if a MOLLE system would work practically for you.I still have the backpack I used in college from 2014/5 that’s made from canvas and re

Travel gear recommendations for Mexico

For the daypack, I use a Fjällräven Kanken. They are durable, have funky colours, have pockets for laptops, come with a pad to sit on, are quite basic on the design (no excess of straps and zippers), are low maintenance, can handle a bit of rain (though are not waterproof) and come in many sizes. Th

Second (or more) time parents, what are we splurging on this time around?

:D I just repurposed my old Fjällräven Kånken as a "diaper bag". Works just as well.
