Sette 270 in 2026

I love love mine. If it died I’d get another. People say it’s loud, it’s really not and it’s only for a few seconds. I usually keep a bag in the hopper, so I bought a Femobook A2 for more variety. It’s good and less noisy, but it takes a couple of minutes to finish a grind, where the sette takes 6-7

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread

That's a good lineup given your constraints, which are very constraining. I don't have personal experience with any of your choices, but I would say to get the Bodum for less static mess, the Oxo for slightly better grind quality. I think that's what it comes down to. The Krups Precision isn't actua

what is the best grinder for ooey gooey chocolate bomb espresso?

It’s not a Femobook A2. I had someone recommend that when I was chasing the same flavor and it is thin, and non chocolatey.

Anything to know about the Outin Fino, Femobook A2, Timemore Whirly grinders for espresso?

I have the ORB, but when I typed in "portable battery powered coffee grinders" into Amazon's search bar, I obviously missed the part where it is neither battery-powered nor portable, lol. Sigh. I'm going to blame the menopause lol. I'm a bit leery of the A2 myself, but not due to the plastic catch c

Portable, battery-powered grinder comparison: Timemore Whirly, Femobook A2, CERA+ CGE01, Outin Fino

My findings are the same, Femobook A2 does not grind for espresso they've changed the design. I use mine with a Breville duo temp, it for sure isn't fine enough. Adding a washer can get it to burr touch.

☕ “Your Desktop Grinder Feeling Jealous?” Write a Comparison, Win a Free Fino or Claro Scale

Group A. Currently using a Femobook A2, but after 20+ years in the espresso rabbit hole, I’ve "graduated" to a minimal-fuss philosophy. I run the largest grinder discussion group on FB (8.5k members), and I've owned everything from ultra-high-end behemoths to compact hand grinders. I’m curious to se

Portable, battery-powered grinder comparison: Timemore Whirly, Femobook A2, CERA+ CGE01, Outin Fino

Thanks.. By the way, the A2, sadly cannot do espresso without modification. Femobook as made later production units goof proof by making it impossible to zero out the burrs and ensure users don't send their grinders to service for burning up their motors. Modding will restore the espresso capability

Help!

Not disagreeing, but Femobook A2 have numerous issues, including plastic breaking under stress, not enough torque for espresso, metal screws falling out inside and destroying the burr, magnets falling off and a terrible communication from support. The more expensive unite are awesome, but an A4Z cos

What do you call this type of RDT tool? And are they worth considering?

I stopped using RDT for the most parts no needed for my metal handgrinder in my electrical one I actually do like that some chaff/fines are gone - clean up with knocker I only need it for my Femobook A2 - the plastic body keeps so much static that a spritz is needed
