I have a Fellow Opus and an Ode Gen 2, which do I return and which do I keep?

I also have both and, like you, do not plan on buying an espresso machine. But I've had a lot of fun experimenting between a conical (Opus) vs. a flat (Ode 2) burr grinder. So I'm keeping both for now to experiment with different styles of coffee. The Opus was a great deal when I bought my Fellow Ai

Which grinder would you choose in this category?

If I had to choose a top grinder from your shortlist, the Fellow Ode Gen 2 would be my first pick without hesitation. Among other grinders in this category, it really stands out for its focus on brewed coffee rather than being a one-size-fits-all machine. The large flat burrs produce an incredibly c

Neue Mühle gesucht

-> Fellow Ode Gen 2 Mir reichen die Stock Burrs mehr als aus, und ich trinke sehr viele verschiedene Light Roasts. Kann man aber später upgraden natürlich.

Thoughts on the new Fellow Opus Gen 2?

Just bought the Fellow Ode Gen 2 upgrading from a Baratza Encore and it’s a night and day difference. Love the flat burr experience over the conical burr for pour over.

Calibrated my Ode gen 2 and now every brew is 7mn+

Gotcha. Reason Im asking, I think you are a bit all over the place :) maybe you are overly worried you purchased a "lemon" and now the replacement gives you frustrations as well and you are frustrated and nervous and irritated... reason I was asking these specific questions is, I have a theory: Your

Don’t buy this grinder (varia vs3) bumigay agad yung motor niya. I should have researched bago ko binili to, daming issues pala about motor niya. 14month of use. 1-3 cups of coffee a day . 🥺

Yeah the VS3 is a failure. The VS4 and VS6 is much better. Kaya mura lang din yang VS3. Honestly better if you just bought a Fellow Ode Gen 2 with upgraded burrs rather than the VS3. Daming issues niyan internationally kaya pumangit reputation ng Varia due to that sole grinder model
