What’s the Best Coffee Grinder to Buy Right Now?

Best coffee grinder depends on the intended usage. Some say it could be the Weber SG1 but most would say it's a bit retro. More seriously, there's nothing wrong with Baratza. For beginners a Baratza Encore is affordable and does a great job for filter coffee. Next step up for filter is Fellow Ode ge

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread

The small bean problem is real and more grinders struggle with it than manufacturers admit. A few options that handle it better: the Baratza Encore is forgiving with smaller beans and pretty much the go-to upgrade from an OXO. If you want to spend a bit more, the Fellow Ode Gen 2 has a pretty wide h

I have a Fellow Opus and an Ode Gen 2, which do I return and which do I keep?

I also have both and, like you, do not plan on buying an espresso machine. But I've had a lot of fun experimenting between a conical (Opus) vs. a flat (Ode 2) burr grinder. So I'm keeping both for now to experiment with different styles of coffee. The Opus was a great deal when I bought my Fellow Ai

Thoughts on the new Fellow Opus Gen 2?

Just bought the Fellow Ode Gen 2 upgrading from a Baratza Encore and it’s a night and day difference. Love the flat burr experience over the conical burr for pour over.

Ode 2 owners, can someone help measure the height where the dosing cup sits? Curious what the maximum height of a third party cup could fit before I consider purchasing. Thanks!

The Ode Gen 2 is great for pour over. And you can upgrade the burrs if you like. It pairs well with the Aiden precision brewer, which is better at pour over than I am. People have reported that a blind shaker fits well as a catch cup for the Ode grinders. If you land on a specific shaker, I would be

Is Timemore 064s Gen 2 worth the wait? Deciding between waiting or going with Fellow Ode Gen 2.

the Sculptor 064s Gen 2 grinder will have the new 064s Gen 2 burrs, which are a big unknown so far. The current 064s Gen 1 burrs are more espresso-oriented, not that good for manual brews / filter coffee, and it remains to be seen, how well their Gen 2 will do for pourover therefore, it will take so
