[NGD] Eureka Helios 65. Home station in the second photo

It depends on usage, we drink around 0.8-1 kg a week (40-50 shots), so for us single dose is just not practical We buy packs of 500g, 3 kilo at a time, freshly roasted, so it’s pretty much fresh all of the time. My sister had a df64, we really didn’t like it, she replaced it with the allground sense

It’s been 36 hours since I had to send my Zuriga to maintenance. I don‘t know if I will survive this.

It’s incredibly reliable and has an excellent consistent output. E.g. compared to a Eureka Mignon Specialita, I would definitely recommend considering the Zuriga grinder (if you have the money). I myself are saving for the GBW upgrade.

Alternatives to Eureka Mignon Specialita grinder [$1000] Oz

Eureka has better more modern grinders. Like take a look at the zero 65Ap and zero. They are about half the price, lack the digital screen, but you get either 55mm or 65mm burrs and a single dose kit. I think the Specialita was like 50mm burrs so you should get much better coffee for a much lower pr

Oh, that is the case afaik. If you cycle in water it will drop almost instantly. I added a needle valve that diverts water into the tank to lower the flow for preinfusion/ pressure control. During the soaking phase temperature is nearly constant.. as soon as I up the flow, the temp will drop again i

Eureka Mignon Specialita or Timemore C2 for V60

Eureka Mignon Specialita is a traditional (dark-roast) espresso grinder, not very suitable for specialty pourovers... also, you don't want to change the grind adjustment frequently, between esp and PO - so, keep that one for the espresso, its grind is not gonna be better than the C2. If you no longe

First shot always runs fast (15s), second is perfect (30–35s) — same setup, what’s going on?

I still think it’s the grinder consistency. I had an Eureka Mignon Specialita and was experiencing the same issue. I have now switched to Niche Zero and the problem is gone.

Weber Workshops just made it real easy for me to pick what company my next grinder will come from. Company culture comes from the top.

Well didn't he give it light multiple reviews? Some people have nightmares with it, others don't "the key can be great if you aren’t trying to grind light roasts at very low rpm" "With that said the main issue with the design of the Key and the HG1/2, and any other grinder with a similar design, is

Bambino Plus & Gaggia MDF55 VS Breville Barista Pro? [$1000]

Correct me if I'm wrong about df54/64:- They don't have a hopper- you cannot adjust grind time I don't want a single dose grinder, as I'm not going to let my partner go and weigh the grind everytime, I will not be the only one using it, that's why I want a hopper and a grind timer. Gaggia MDF55 is b

Funky Light Roasts with Milk: Blasphemy or Underrated?

Can I ask what version of the df64 u had? I currently own the df64 gen 2 and have had zero issues so far, but sometimes feel I am not getting all the flavor notes that are possible and wonder about upgrading. The issues is that I also don’t get all the notes on a kingrinder k4 or eureka mignon speci

Help in Choosing First Espresso Machine (max budget for setup around 50k)

I currently have a Lelit Anna v2 (with PID), a single boiler machine. I make two cold drinks daily with no problem, but hot drinks are a bit of a pain, which is expected with most single boiler machines. With proper dialing, I’ve been able to make really good coffee with it (honestly better than a l
