Non-coffee drinker seeking advice on what espresso machine to buy for my daughter [$400-$500]

Probably the best budget setup you can buy. If you were going to increase the budget a bit I would highly recommend the Eureka Mignon Notte grinder at $300.

I just got an open box eureka mignon Notte from SCG for $260. It’s fantastic for a grinder at this price point

Breville barista express [$400 Budget]

I started with a BBE, it’s a good starter machine. If it’s what you want just get it. You wouldn’t be making a huge mistake. The biggest downfall do that machine is its grinder. You’ll reach a point eventually where you’ll want to grind slightly finer or coarser and the adjustment jump you do will b

Grinder recommendations [~$350]

Check out the Eureka Mignon Zero or the Eureka Mignon Notte, either new or used. You can find these for around $300. It's a true espresso grinder.

Entry level machine upgrade from a Mr. Coffee espresso maker [$600]

Your OXO grinder is going to be the bottleneck here, more than the machine as you start to scale up. I started with an old Breville myself and didn't start pulling shots the way I actually wanted them until I upgraded to a good grinder, I splurged and bought a Mini Mazzer grinder - it was a big purc

Grinder, bottomless portafilter, wdt and tamper buying advice needed [$100] for each

I suggest you spend ~$350 on a grinder & <$50 on a scale. Not sure about your region specifically, but in many you can get a eureka mignon notte in this price range. This will have the biggest impact. After that, you'll want to get a real tamper, but you don't have to spend too much on this.

Help our DF54 keeps clogging! :(

What roast level do you have? And for what grind setting? Do you spritz your dose before you throw it in the grinder? Clogging is kind of a common issue with DF54 if you're using oily beans or grind for quite a bit of time on fine grind setting (heat clumps the grounds). If spritzing doesn't prevent

I’m just lost [500-1500k]

It kind of like asking for a camera that takes good pictures. I am not mocking, just want you to get good advice here : ) Super Auto and espresso machines are not comparable at all, look into it, not close to same pressure and thereby taste. I truly believe simpler is better faster. Espresso takes t
