Eureka Mignon Libra Espresso vs Mahlkönig x64 [700€]
I would reject both of your options. Libra ... in theory should allow you to switch between settings easily. I don't agree with your theory. Switching any hopper grinder between grind settings is problematical. You need to purge the grinder to get rid of the retained grinds from the previous setting

Beginner losing his mind with brand new coffee grinder.
Eureka grinders are notorious for their grind size adjustment dial: The adjustment wheel can be rotated multiple times going coarser/finer and there is no way of knowing on which turn (a.k.a. how fine/coarse) you are. It's true the zero point is relative, but the bigger problem is that the Eureka Mi

Switched from single dosing to a Mahlkönig E65 GBW… I don’t think I’m going back.
Agreed with this. Like I’ll pay more for GBW but for example on the mignons what’s virtually the same grinder moving from the zero to the libra roughly doubles the cost. Feels like it should be $100 or so

Advice on upgrading grinder [$500]
On my silenzio the accuracy was around 0.3 g when i still used the hopper. Switched to single dosing because it keeps the beans fresher. If gbw is worth it is subjective. I personally wouldn't get a libra but i am thinking of building the open source GbW project that exists for mignons

Grinder upgrade?
As a comment above, think what you expect from coffee. Flat burr - for light and medium roast Conical burr - for dark roast For DF64 if you pick gen 2.5 you are covered. Also in same price rand you can buy: eureka - zero 65 AP, single dose, pro; df64 -> anything closer to this spec:~65mm burr and ze

10+ Year Machine Still Kickin
Profitec move and Eureka Libra AP 65. I’m just having a lot of trouble getting consistent shots, and I find myself constantly tweaking the grind settings

Help! Machine and grinder combo less than or equal to 110k
The Milesto one is okay for espresso another is CRM3149 if you want a bit cheaper, you might get a discount during WOFEX. True commercial GbW grinders are expensive, pero merong mga copycat attempts like K680, ZF64W, Atlas 74 from Koryaiko/Toffico (same manufacturer just rebranded) but they’re not a

Eureka Mignon Libra Espresso vs Mahlkönig x64 [700€]
Why is Libra even in your considerations if one of your needs is single dose? You don't just get a hoper grinder, which is opposite form single dose, but you also overpay for grind by weight that you wouldn't need. At least look at Eureka Mignon Oro (new single dose) or Zero (old single dose) if you

Eureka Libra - 3 years since it came out... any thoughts?
I have a Eureka Mignon Libra AP 65mm with grind by weight. I use about a hopper of beans (generally a medium roast) in a week (~340g/12oz), and don’t notice any real change from the first beans from a freshly-opened bag to the end of the hopper fill. However, the workflow is … meh. The beans jam in
