Eureka Mignon Libra Espresso vs Mahlkönig x64 [700€]

I would reject both of your options. Libra ... in theory should allow you to switch between settings easily. I don't agree with your theory. Switching any hopper grinder between grind settings is problematical. You need to purge the grinder to get rid of the retained grinds from the previous setting

Beginner losing his mind with brand new coffee grinder.

Eureka grinders are notorious for their grind size adjustment dial: The adjustment wheel can be rotated multiple times going coarser/finer and there is no way of knowing on which turn (a.k.a. how fine/coarse) you are. It's true the zero point is relative, but the bigger problem is that the Eureka Mi

10+ Year Machine Still Kickin

Profitec move and Eureka Libra AP 65. I’m just having a lot of trouble getting consistent shots, and I find myself constantly tweaking the grind settings

Under extracted .. sour always [Profitec Go + Eureka Mignon Oro Single Dose]

I'm a beginners as well, but my impression from multiple failed sour shots, is that filling the portafilter enough is pretty important for the taste. I have Eureka mignon libra and profitech 600. The grinding setting has to be just right, I my experience. It can be real finnicky.

Am I going to taste the difference?mahlkonig vs eureka. [No budget]

Hm, interesting—I'm facing the exact same question. I've also added the ECM Exacto to my list. The main downside of the Libra compared to the others is the grind adjustment (especially with the small dial) + it's relatively slow compared to the Eureka Stark W, or the Atom 65 Casa. However, personal

I Need a New Grinder. Help Me Out! [No Budget]

Dumb question: are you using a dosing funnel? Silly strong magnets and extra height can dramatically reduce mess. A budget would help. Preferred flavor profile. But if you have been using a Rocky and primarily critiquing its workflow, I will guess darker, traditional italian style beans. Assuming da

I did a thing! And I’m so glad I did it.

I’ve used a mignon zero (same burrs as the specialita but remove the timer and add a bellows) and an atom 75w (probably similar to the atom 65 but hard to be sure how burrs change across sizes). The grounds come out way faster and fluffier from the w75, but the retention is much higher even before h

[~$500 or less] looking for a single dose grinder

The old MCI models (which I have) and the manuale are not that bad, because they do not have touch buttons and electronics. The displays and capacitive buttons are failing the most. A lot of distributors, service and repair shops have told me the same thing, eurekas fail more than other brands. Just
