Mazzer Philos, the premium price is that the machine doesn't fail on you. While I really like the DF line for the budget option, once you get to the higher price range, I can't trust their QA and support to justify the risk. Personally, I'd shell out a little more for the durability, buy once cry on

I had a eureka atom 65, my word I hated the retention - wasted so much coffee - and when you try to do the bellows, you end up w the situation here - chaff all over the inside. It’s not a proper single dose, just marketed that way to fit current demand

Opus is a single dose grinder, and is not NSF certified. For your cart, you don't want to be weighing out each dose. You need a grinder that can grind-by-time or grind-by-weight that has a large hopper. Eureka Atom 65 is a popular choice for small coffee carts.

Does it have to be a single dose grinder? I see everyone is going that route since you are coming from the Niche and were considering other single dosing ones, but with that kind of budget you could get some nice grinder with grind by weight integration and a little 250gr hopper... Almost went with mahlkonig but ultimately decided to go with a Eureka Atom 65 grind by weight and it was the best decision I ever made
