Might as well get a security camera - recommend Eufy (S340, E40 or E42 models) cameras. They have motion sensors, lights and record accordingly - notification can be sent to your phone. No subscription required too.

Yep. Working nearly perfectly. Occasional rare missed recording or mis identification. Streaming is quick I get notification within 2-3 seconds and clicking gets me the recording in 3-4 more. I have 1 e340 floodlight and 4 e42 solo cams connected to a HomeBase 3. It identifies all of us in our house

I like Eufy stuff BUT, I wouldn't make a big purchase like this through them. Use Amazon (due to easy return policy and being able to add a warranty, I'm assuming it's just as easy in Canada, but I don't know). Try to buy the parts separately if the discounts aren't huge for the bundle. I find that
