Lack of caring for customers
I'm so disappointed in Eufy, I bought their S350 camera because for the price I felt it will be of quality and will have proper support. I'm coming from a Xiaomi camera that has a firmware update pending that makes the camera stop saving videos on to the SD card. It works fine, I just have to dismis

Looking for a good hamster-cam
The Eufy S350 is amazing and has two lenses but is expensive. They have a 4K camera for 50. They have cheaper ones, but if you can, I’d recommend 4K for quality. https://a.co/d/0f1KWpUs https://a.co/d/05W2r5VZ

Don’t be an idiot and buy eufy cameras
I've been using these cams for a few years. Few models of solar and an s350 indoor cam. The outdoor cams were just about the only option I could find that were solar/cellular which I needed when i bought them. Eufy is basically the most customizable with the most options that I'm aware of. The downs

any bonding tips? and camera recommendation?
I have a Eufy 4K S350 for my hamster. Overpriced but it has dual lenses so I can stalk my hamster. They have a much cheaper 4K single lens model (E30). Eufy also has 1080/2k models that run for 30-40 bucks. I like Eufy because they have an option to flip horizontally so I can mount the camera on the

Anything to look out for with setup?
I have three E220s, one S350, and one E30. Using all of them with internal microsd cards. I use the Homebase only for my sensors and outdoor cameras. 24/7 recording is on for my indoor cams and they are connected to my existing local wifi. (Maybe I should create a new wifi network just for my eufy s

Must haves
Yes it’s a camera. It’s the Eufy S350. It’s not cheap, but has dual lenses (4K regular, then optical zoom). Eufy also makes cheaper versions that range in pricing. I love Eufy because they’re subscription free, hub/base free, can record to an SD, option to disable audio recording, has motion detecti

Looking for Recommendations
For just two cameras, a wifi setup with SD cards is probably the easiest entry point. Reolink Argus series or Eufy S350 are solid choices, no monthly fees, view on your phone anytime.

Indoor cameras with decent audio recording
It’s a WiFi camera and made by eufy but the s350 indoor camera can also be used as a baby monitor so has ‘sound detection’ and always sounds pretty clear on playback. You can also set it up to record continuously and get notifications for sound and movement. Been out a while so can pick it up quite

Any recommendations on cameras for my hammies cage?
Depends on your budget. I have the Eufy S350, which is amazing but pretty pricey. They have lower tier ones that start at a much more reasonable price. Other big brands are Wyze, Reolink, and TP Link, and Kasa.

Any Advice getting into the Eufy ecosystem?
Some camera models are better than others. Stick with 24/7 recording. Battery cameras from every vendor are bad. Probably stay away from the new nvr stuff from eufy. I have mixed emotions about homebase. Lots of my issues have stemmed from trying to use the homebase feature set. Recording to Nas and
