Eufycam 2c pro randomly lighting up while charging
Turning the cameras off in the app doesn't do what you'd expect, can't comment specifically for the 2C Pro but on my Eufy cams the ir still clicks when movement is detected and the S340 will rotate to set positions.

You stiill need the Eufy homebase whichever you go for, suggest the newer cams as the 2C's are super slow to wake up etc and show picture, binned mine off at the front for Aqara ones but still use them in the back along with another.

Proof That S3 Pro DOES Charge Via Solar But App Doesn't Show Solar Charging And Snapshot Function Not Yet Supported
The other caveat here is, the official Eufy solar panel doesn’t call out the S3 camera as a supported model even though it says “compatible with all cameras”: Provides continuous charging for your eufyCam 2, eufyCam 2 Pro, eufyCam 2C, eufyCam 2C Pro, eufyCam S330, and SoloCam S230.
