If you don’t want any missed events, I cannot recommend a battery powered camera. If you have an outside floodlight or lamp, there are options to replace them with a floodlight/camera combination. I am in "trial" mode for the Eufy system. I had Arlo which generally worked but was starting to show age. Plus the Arlo company sucketh eggs. And they're slowly forcing users to a subscription model. Ingenic T40. I have a few of them in service for over 2yrs, no real issues as long as you can maintain a solid wifi connection with minimal channel interference from neighbours. I'm guessing the Wifi chip is pretty weak, it's an AIC8800D80 and I had more connection issues with it vs the old 2K flood

Love my Eufy floodlight cams hardwired, doorbell, door locks. No homebase, just use the app. No complaints here. All on my mesh network.

I don't have the S3 Pro. I do have 5 eufy cameras and the Homebase3. I have the e340 doorbell, an inside pan and tilt cam, and 2 e340 floodlight cams and another floodlight camera can't remember the model . It all works great for me. I have a good wifi mesh setup.
