Homebase 3 Slow to notify & only gives you a few seconds of footage? Try this.
I am on HB2 with cam2 and cam2c battery cams. I have played with the customized recording myself to try and minimize video clips cut short or capturing only the last second or two of the intended event. What I couldn't figure out is the 5-60s of "Intervals between triggers", it doesn't seem to work

Eufy S220 vs S330
Hello OP I have the EufyCam S330 which are the 4K bullet style cameras with built in solar panels. I have had them for about four years now and if I knew then what I know now I would not have bought them. While my current cameras work fine I had to exchange every one of them at least twice through E

Eufy, What kind of VooDoo Security system are you trying to sell?
Well, let me share MY experiences and then YOU can make your own decisions. I've been using Eufy for nearly four years (2022). Initially, I LOVED the system. However, this was my first deep-dive into an expensive security system, and it never occurred to me to actually test it's abilities. Even thou

Really?
I can agree with all of that. I didn't participate in this sub or provide feedback anywhere for the first 4 - 5 years of ownership. My current frustration is based on 5 - 6 years experience with two Eufy systems that many, many times failed to capture the things I cared about. Battery powered camera

Eufy/Anker refuses my warranty claim regarding delamination of the solar panel (S340)
Eufy is well aware that their original panels are crap and prone to delamination. Happened to every one of my S330 EufyCams… sent them all the info they needed for claim within warranty and they denied it anyway giving some lame excuse about the photos I sent. The images clearly showed the damage. T

Eufy is currently not a serious security product. Bugs and no fail safes.
Eufy Home Security is badly designed, not good if you want dependable, self managed security. The problem is that Eufy Security devices can be shut off due to tampering (unplugging), battery failure, or Internet failure, and you won't get a notification saying "device failure" so you can fix it or s

Overall consensus
I install all kinds of security gear and for the customers who just want a couple of easy to use cameras (eg older generation user base) I have directed them to Eufy for the benefit of non-subscription, good app and motion notification setup. Doorbells and security floodlights are probably the only

Proof That S3 Pro DOES Charge Via Solar But App Doesn't Show Solar Charging And Snapshot Function Not Yet Supported
The other caveat here is, the official Eufy solar panel doesn’t call out the S3 camera as a supported model even though it says “compatible with all cameras”: Provides continuous charging for your eufyCam 2, eufyCam 2 Pro, eufyCam 2C, eufyCam 2C Pro, eufyCam S330, and SoloCam S230. There’s this tidb
